What it does
Most quotes end with a customer replying to an email or calling you back to say yes. That reply sits in an inbox until someone reads it, and nothing in Allison changes until you go update the job by hand.
Quote Approvals removes that step. You add an Approve Quote button to your quote email. The customer clicks it, reviews the quote on a page with your business name and logo, and approves. The job is marked approved in Allison right away, and you move straight into scheduling.
Adding the Approve Quote button
The button lives in your quote message, so you add it once and it applies to every quote you send after that.
Select your name in the top right and choose Settings.
Scroll down to Message and press Edit.
Switch to the Content tab at the top.
Scroll down to Job Quote and press Edit.
You'll land in the Allison Content Editor. The left side is where you edit the message. The right side shows how the quote will look in your customer's inbox.
By default, the message ends with a line telling the customer to reply to the email or contact you to confirm. That line is no longer needed:
Delete it from the left-hand side.
Add a new Approve Quote Button block.
Press Save. You'll see a "Message saved" notification.
Everything else in the quote is yours to change. You can write your own intro, remove the quote summary section, or use Insert Variables to pull in customer and job details. For a full walkthrough of the editor, see Customize Email and SMS Messages.
Sending a quote
Press Add Job and select the customer.
Press Next. The job saves as a draft.
Build the job — choose the service and any add-ons, then press Done.
Press Send at the top to send the quote.
The job moves to Quoted status, and a banner appears showing the date and the amount the customer was quoted.
One thing to watch: if you edit the job after sending, the price in Allison can end up different from the price your customer is looking at. Allison warns you when this happens. If the number changes, send an updated quote.
What your customer sees
The customer gets an email laying out the quote, with the Approve Quote button at the bottom.
Clicking it opens a page showing:
Your business name, plus your logo if you've added one in company settings
The service being quoted, with the description from your service configuration
The total
From there they press approve, and they're done.
After the quote is approved
The approval lands in Allison immediately.
You'll get a notification, and on the Now screen you'll see the customer listed with a check mark next to the approved quote.
Open the job and the banner will read Quote approved, with the amount, date, and time. Press Start Scheduling to pick the date, time, and cleaners.
No phone tag, no forwarded email, no manually marking the job as accepted.
