To clock in at your job site, your browser needs to access your current location. If you receive a message that your location is off, or that you are not detected at the job site, you may need to enable location services or switch on “precise location” in your device settings.
Why Is This Needed?
Location helps confirm cleaners are at the right job site when clocking in.
For iPhone or iPad
Allison Home Screen App
If location services aren't behaving as expected when using Allison from an app on your home screen, you can try the following:
Delete the Allison home screen app by long-pressing on it and tapping "Delete"
Restart your device
Browser (Safari or Chrome)
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
Ensure Location Services is turned on
Scroll down, tap your browser app (Safari or Chrome)
Set access to “While Using the App” or “Always”
To allow precise location (not just approximate):
In the same settings, ensure Precise Location is on for your browser app

Open Settings > Location
Make sure Location is on
Open Settings > Apps > Chrome > Permissions > Location
Choose “Allow only while using the app” or similar
If available, enable the Use Precise Location toggle
In Chrome, go to:
Menu (⋮) > Settings > Site Settings > Location
Ensure location is allowed
