Collect Google Reviews from Scorecards

Allison helps you automatically turn happy customers into Google reviews—without any extra work from your team.

Once set up, customers who leave a positive scorecard rating will be guided to leave a Google review, while lower ratings stay private.

How it works

After a job is completed:

  1. The customer receives a scorecard request

  2. They rate their experience

  3. Based on their rating:

    • 4 stars or higher → prompted to leave a Google review

    • Below 4 stars → shown a simple closing screen (no public review request)

This ensures you’re only sending your happiest customers to Google.

Example flow

Step 1: Customer receives a scorecard request

There are three ways a customer can be prompted to leave feedback:

  1. Automatically
Turn on automatic scorecards and Allison will send a request after each completed job.

  2. Manually
Send a scorecard yourself after the job is completed.

  3. Payment receipt
Customers can also leave feedback directly from their receipt via the “Give Feedback” button.

Step 2: Customer submits a scorecard

The customer rates their experience after the cleaning.

Step 3: Review routing

Based on the rating:

  • 4 stars or higher → Customer is prompted to leave a Google review

  • Below 4 stars → Customer sees a simple closing screen (no public review request)

How to set it up

Step 1: Add your Google Place ID

Go to: Settings → Company Scroll to Google Place ID and paste your ID into the field. This connects your business to your Google review page.

Step 2: Find your Google Place ID

  1. Go to the Google Place ID Finder

  2. Search for your business name

  3. Copy the Place ID shown

  4. Paste it into Allison

What your customers see

  • A clean receipt and payment confirmation

  • A simple “Give Feedback” prompt

  • A seamless path to leave a review (only if rating is 4+)

Best practice

For the best results, most businesses should:

  • Turn on automatic scorecards by going to Setting > Notifications and turn on When a job is completed...

  • Let the payment receipt act as a fallback

This combination ensures:

  • Every customer is asked for feedback

  • You don’t have to remember to send anything manually

  • You capture reviews even if the original request is missed

Why this matters

  • More Google reviews without manual follow-up

  • Protects your reputation by filtering unhappy customers

  • Improves conversion for future customers searching your business

FAQs

Do customers know their rating determines the review prompt?
No—this happens behind the scenes.

Can customers still leave a review if they rate below 4?
Not through this flow. They would need to find your Google page manually.

What happens if I don’t add a Google Place ID?
Customers can still submit scorecards, but they won’t be prompted to leave a Google review.
