Logging In

When you log into Allison, your experience is tailored to your role. As a cleaning technician, you'll see the Cleaner Experience — a simplified view focused on everything you need to do your job.

If you need help saving Allison down on your phone (similar to a mobile app) check out this help article here

Your Menu

Tap the menu button at the top of the screen (your name will be displayed there). From here you can:

  • View your availability and time off

  • Access the Allison Help Center

  • Sign out

Today Screen

The Today screen is your home base. At the top, you'll see any jobs scheduled for you today.

Tapping a job gives you a quick summary:

  • Customer name and service type

  • Job address

  • Estimated duration

  • Clock In button and On My Way text button

Once you've sent the "On My Way" text, the button will be disabled — the customer has already been notified.

Inside a Job

Tap into any job to see full details:

  • Scheduled times — when you're expected to clock in and clock out

  • Service type — e.g., Standard Clean

  • Add-ons — any additional services requested

  • Customer tags — notes your employer has flagged (e.g., "Prefers same cleaner")

  • Directions — open in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or copy the address

You'll also see expandable note sections:

Note Type

What It Contains

Entry Notes

Door codes, lockbox info, access instructions

Cleaning Notes

Specific cleaning instructions for this visit

Customer Notes

Important info about the customer (e.g., "Works from home, please be mindful of noise")

Property Notes

Parking instructions, property quirks, etc.

As a cleaning technician, you can view notes but cannot edit them as a Cleaning Tech. Tap to expand or collapse each section. You'll also see whether this is a one-time or recurring job, and the date of the previous visit.

Upcoming Screen

Want to see what's coming up? Tap Upcoming at the bottom of the screen.

You'll see:

  • A view of the month with upcoming days highlighted

  • Your booking percentage and open hours for the month

  • A list of all your assigned upcoming jobs

  • Your estimated earnings per day (if your employer has enabled this)

Tap any job to view its full details, just like on the Today screen.

Managing Your Availability

Keeping your availability up to date helps your scheduler assign jobs with confidence. Note: The owner must have this permission turned on for you to be able to update your availability.

Go to Menu → Availability and Time Off to access your profile. You'll see two sections:

Time Off

Need a day off — or part of a day? Add it here. You can:

  • Mark a full day as unavailable

  • Select specific time blocks for partial-day unavailability

General Availability

This is your regular weekly schedule. If your availability is changing (e.g., you can no longer work Mondays starting next month), update it here.

To update your general availability:

  1. Remove any days you won't be available

  2. Add time blocks for days with limited hours (you can add multiple blocks per day)

  3. Tap Done

  4. Choose whether the change takes effect immediately or on a specific date

  5. Tap Save Changes

Once saved, you'll see both your current availability and any upcoming changes listed on your profile page.

Tip: Always keep this up to date. Schedulers rely on your availability to assign jobs correctly.
