Understanding and Using Scorecards in Allison

Overview

Scorecards in Allison let you collect customer feedback automatically after each cleaning job—no need for separate tools or add-ons. Feedback not only helps you improve service but also encourages more Google Reviews from satisfied customers.


How Scorecards Work

Scorecards can be sent to customers either:

  • Automatically after a job is completed (recommended)

  • Manually by the business owner or manager from any completed job

Customers receive a short feedback form by email with four quick questions about their experience.

Setting Up Scorecards

  1. Go to Settings
    Open the main menu → click Settings → scroll down to Notifications.

  2. Configure Scorecard Timing
    Under the “When a job is completed” section, choose when to send the scorecard:

    • Immediately

    • 2 hours after

    • 24 hours after

    • Off (if you prefer to send manually)

  3. Add Your Google Place ID (optional but highly recommended)
    Enter your Google Place ID in the COMPANY settings.

    • If a customer rates 4 stars or higher, they’ll be directed to leave you a Google Review.

    • If the rating is below 4, they’ll see a thank-you message instead, and their feedback will be sent privately to you.


Why You Should Send Scorecards

Sending scorecards after every cleaning:

  • Increases the likelihood of getting feedback.

  • Helps identify where your team excels and where improvements are needed.

  • Automatically drives positive Google Reviews—critical for local SEO and reputation growth.


Viewing Scorecard Feedback

You can find submitted feedback in several places:

  1. Reports Section
    Go to Reports → Scorecards to view all customer responses and trends over time.

  2. Employee Profiles
    Each cleaner’s profile shows their average scorecard ratings for performance tracking.

  3. Email Notifications
    You’ll receive an instant email whenever a customer submits a scorecard, including:

    • Date of service

    • Customer name

    • Assigned cleaner(s)

    • Service type

    • Customer responses


Sending Scorecards Manually

If automatic sending is turned off, you can still send them individually:

  1. Go to a completed job.

  2. Click the More button.

  3. Select Send Scorecard.
    The customer will immediately receive an email prompting them to provide feedback.


What Customers See

Customers receive an email like:

“Hi [Customer Name], hope you loved your cleaning! Your feedback helps us continue to improve.”

They then complete four short rating questions:

  • Overall satisfaction

  • Professionalism & friendliness

  • Cleanliness

  • Would you recommend us?

After submission:

  • With Google Place ID + rating ≥ 4: Customer is directed to your Google Review page.

  • Without Google Place ID or rating < 4: A thank-you message is shown instead.
