My Cleaner forgot to clock in or out. What do I do?

If one of your cleaners forgot to clock in or out, don’t worry — as an Owner or Manager, you can manually update their timesheet and mark the job as complete.

Step 1: Go to the Job that needs to be Updated

Navigate to the job that needs to be updated. It will likely show a “Running Late” tag.

Step 2: Open the Job Menu

Find the job that needs to be updated and click the three dots (•••) next to it.
Select Mark As Complete from the menu.

This will open the Confirm Time modal, where you can review or edit the job’s time details.

Step 3: Add or Edit Time Entries

If there are no clock-in events recorded, you’ll see an option to Add Clock-In.

  • Click Add Clock-In to manually enter the start and end time for the cleaner.

  • You can also add breaks by selecting Add Pause if needed.

  • To make corrections, click the trash icon to remove a time entry and re-enter it.

Step 4: Confirm the Updated Timesheet

Once you’ve entered the correct time details, click Confirm at the bottom right of the modal.


This will:

  • Save the updated time information.

  • Automatically update the total labor time.

  • Mark the job as Completed with the new timesheet data.

Step 5: Review Your Changes

After confirming, if you did this action from the TodayScreen, you’ll be returned to the Today view, and the job will now appear under Completed.


The updated time entry will be reflected in the job’s record and in any associated reporting.


Tip: Only Owners and Managers can make manual timesheet edits. Cleaners will not have access to adjust or confirm time entries.
