How to Edit a Timesheet in Allison

Allison makes it easy to adjust timesheets if an employee forgets to clock in or out, or if you need to make corrections for any other reason. You can edit a timesheet directly from a completed job or from its related invoice.

Method 1: Edit a Timesheet from a Completed Job

  1. Locate the Job

    • Navigate to the completed cleaning job you want to edit.

  2. Open the More Menu

    • Click the More Menu button (⋮) next to the job details.

  3. Select “Edit Timesheet”

    • Click Edit Timesheet from the dropdown menu.

  4. Adjust Times

    • Modify the Clock In and Clock Out times as needed.

    • You can also add a pause to reflect break time.

  5. Confirm Changes

    • After editing, press Confirm.

    • The total job time and labor time will automatically update.

Example

If Abigail started at 7:50 AM instead of 8:00 AM, update the Clock In time to 7:50 AM. Once you confirm, the job duration will increase accordingly (e.g., from 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes).

Method 2: Edit a Timesheet from the Invoice

  1. Open the Invoice

    • Navigate to the internal invoice for the job.

  2. Select “Edit Timesheet”

    • Click the Edit Timesheet option on the invoice.

  3. Make Adjustments

    • Edit times as needed, just as you would from the job view.

  4. Save Changes

    • Click Confirm to finalize your updates.

Summary

You can edit timesheets in Allison from either the job view or the invoice view. Both methods allow you to:

  • Adjust Clock In and Clock Out times

  • Add Pauses

  • Automatically update job and labor times
